We want to inform you of a potential Canada Post strike, which could begin as early as Friday, May 23, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. local time. If no agreement is reached, this may lead to significant delivery delays or full service suspension.
What to expect:
Rotating Strike: Canada Post has indicated it will attempt to maintain delivery in unaffected regions, but delays should be expected.
Full Strike: If a national labour disruption occurs, no mail or parcels will be delivered, and no new shipments will be accepted.
Backlog Risk: Even after operations resume, processing delays are likely as Canada Post works through backlogs.
Limitations: Alternative carriers cannot deliver to PO boxes or all apartment buildings, which may result in delivery challenges for some addresses.
What we're doing:
We’ve already communicated with our warehouse and eCommerce clients and provided alternative carrier options (e.g., FedEx, UPS).
We recommend monitoring the Canada Post websitefor real-time updates.
